Job Description:
  • Assisting in planning work on assigned audit by preparing planning memo of assignment.
  • Assisting in determining records or activities to analyses, the extent of tests to apply and the size of samples to be tested.
  • Assisting in performing the audit in accordance with the approved program and in a professional manner.
  • Assisting seniors and supervisors in report writing and communicating / presenting the results of internal audit to management.
  • Preparing acceptable working papers which record and summarize data on the assigned engagement segment.
  • Holding preliminary discussions of apparent deficiencies with operating personnel to verify facts and to obtain explanations of and reasons for such apparent deficiencies.
  • Preparing formal written reports, as requested, expressing opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and the deficiency with which activities are carried out.
  • Assisting in appraising the accuracy of the corrective action taken to improve deficient conditions.
